The world is on the verge of the largest transit of capital in history. In the next 20-30 years, representatives of the baby boomer generation will pass on to their heirs, according to various estimates, from 83 to 124 trillion dollars.
At UBS, this process is called "The Great Redistribution of Wealth", and he promises to completely change the face of the world's elite. The new owners of capital will be people whose values and lifestyles are radically different from their parents.
We tell you who exactly will receive this money and why it is time for the old private banks to start worrying.

Faces of the Future: Women Take Their Own
Women are no longer "invisible" participants in money management. According to sources, women's wealth in the world is growing faster than the market: the average fortune of female billionaires in 2025 increased by 8.4%, while that of men increased by only 3.2%.
К 2030 году женщины в США и ЕС могут контролировать до 45–47% всех розничных финансовых активов.
Women are more likely to prefer long-term goals, such as maintaining a lifestyle and paying for health care, rather than chasing maximum short-term profits. At the same time, they are more likely to change financial advisors if they do not feel a personal approach or transparency in pricing.
Zoomers and millennials: Investing "for love", not just for money
Heirs from generations Y and Z perceive wealth not as a "lottery win", but as a responsibility and a tool of influence. About 40 percent of fourth- and fifth-generation heirs see the transfer of wealth primarily as a change of management rather than just a formal act of receiving money.
- Priorities: They are more concerned with technology (AI), inequality, and climate change than with short-term market fluctuations. Almost half of young investors are already investing in sustainable development (ESG) and impact investments.
- Where they look for advice: They prefer the opinion of peers (27%) and social networks to traditional bankers. About 75% of Robinhood users — people under the age of 43, which highlights their commitment to digitalization and simplicity.
Capital becomes "gay"
Economic strength: The global volume of "pink money" (the purchasing power of the LGBTQ+ community) is estimated at $4.7 trillion.
Queer investors are more likely to face legal complexities in inheritance and parental rights issues in different countries, which requires more complex financial planning. In addition, they are more likely to need liquid assets due to the risks of discrimination in the labor market.

Why Is This Important?
Wealth is becoming "awakened," and this is not just a change in terminology. A new generation of capital owners wants their money to reflect their identity.
