Rapper Vacio (Nikolai Vasilyev), the most talked-about guest at Nastya Ivleeva’s “naked party,” gave an interview to Yuri Dud.
He spoke at length about his experience after participating in Ivleeva's "nude party", including his arrest, trial, and time in a detention center. Vacio also discussed his musical career, the evolution of his views on life and art, and the reasons that led him to leave Russia and move to France. He spoke about personal experiences, such as his struggle with addiction and his changing attitude toward toxic masculinity and a desire for personal freedom of self-expression through music and style, including wearing high heels.
Kolya admits that in the past, “the full spectrum of toxic masculinity” was present in his behavior. He describes how he “behaved horribly toward her,” speaking loudly, swearing, and talking crudely to girls. In particular, he recalls how he behaved terribly toward an 18-year-old girl. VACIO notes that his behavior stemmed from insecurities and a fear of losing control or appearing weak. Kolya says that after his experience with the girl, he realized that “Something’s fucking off here, if you ask me”.
We recently wrote about how VACIO recorded the track "PIDARASIO" about fighting the system and the backlash following his participation in Nastya Ivleeva’s “naked party.” This is the 27-year-old artist’s first track in a year.
At the event, Vacio appeared wearing a single sock on his penis. After the party, the musician was arrested and sentenced to 15 days in jail under the charge of petty hooliganism. He was also fined 200,000 rubles under the law on “LGBT propaganda.”

After his release, he was detained again under the same charge, on the grounds that he had used profanity as he was leaving the police station. At that time, the court sentenced Vacio to another ten days in jail, and he was later served with a summons to report to the military registration and enlistment office. In late January, his attorney, Roman Popov, reported...that his client will be drafted into the army in the spring of 2024.
After that, Vacio left Russia.
