Bulgarian singer DARA (real name - Darina Yotova) won the Eurovision Song Contest. The musician performed the song "Bangaranga".

The chorus of "Bangaranga-bangaranga" instantly sticks in your memory, and the lyrics about night fire, rebellion and complete surrender to emotions perfectly fit her bright and daring presentation. DARA performed powerfully, with excellent live vocals, dynamic choreography and memorable staging, which deserved to win. As a result, her performance became one of the brightest and most discussed at the entire competition.

The second place was taken by Israel. 28-year-old Noam Bettan, winner of the national selection for HaKokhav HaBa, came out with the track "Michelle", a sensual pop song sung in Hebrew, French and English. The song tells about the complex, all-consuming love for a girl named Michelle and touches the whole range of emotions - from passion to the pain of parting. Despite the political noise and calls for a boycott, Noam confidently made it to the finals with a strong live performance and memorable staging.

This year's event was marked by the largest boycott in its history: five countries — Spain, Ireland, Iceland, the Netherlands and Slovenia — refused to send their artists because of participation Israel against the backdrop of events in Gaza. Despite the protests and the tense atmosphere, the Israeli singer Noam Bettan successfully advanced to the final, while Russia and Belarus were again excluded from the competition.

Romania took third place. The country returned to Eurovision after a hiatus with one of the boldest and most controversial bids of the year. Alexandra Capitanescu, the winner of The Voice of Romania, came out with the track "Choke Me" - a dark pop-rock number about toxic passion, suffocating love and painful pleasure. Powerful vocals, aggressive energy and provocative lyrics immediately divided the audience: someone was hooked by the audacity and modern sound, and someone was repelled by a frank hint at an abusive relationship.

70th Anniversary Music Competition Eurovision was held in Vienna, Austria at Wiener Stadthalle. In the decisive stage, they fought for victory 26 participants, among which the main favorites were the representatives of Finland, Greece and Denmark.
