The Russian-speaking gay community on Telegram is huge. But to be honest, it’s chaotic. There are activists, blogs, and chat rooms where people are simply looking for support or friends. All of these exist side by side, but they rarely overlap.
We decided to fix that.
This is a continuation of the project GOGO, which we launched in the summer of 2025. It’s now cleaner, faster, and more user-friendly—with navigation by country and topic.
What Is a Gay Directory?
Gay Directory — This is a mini-app on Telegram that brings together channels and chats related to the LGBT community, ranging from media outlets and blogs to local communities in various countries.
Here's how the catalog works: you go to the site, choose a country or a topic—and find everything you need. No spam, no ads, no endless redirects.
If you like the channel, just give it a ❤️ heart. It's a simple "like" system: the more "likes" a project has, the higher it climbs in the overall list and within its category. This creates a fair ranking—based not on the number of followers, but on community support.
Why is this necessary?
We often see new projects emerge and quickly fade away—simply because no one knows where to find them. The catalog solves this problem: it brings people together, helps them find each other, and builds trust between creators and their audience.

How to Get Listed in the Catalog
Any channel or chat related to the LGBT community is eligible to apply. The main requirement is that the content be safe, relevant to the topic, and not simply commercial advertising or NSFW content.
After moderation, the project appears in the directory and becomes part of a large map of Russian-language LGBT Telegram channels.
Friends Folder
In addition to the catalog, there is Friends Public Folder — A curated selection of channels that support community development. It’s like a showcase: the most active and important projects are featured there.
To be on Friends, all you need to do is remind your audience about the catalog from time to time—by posting a link or reposting from Doberman Media.
In return, you’ll receive priority placement and additional visibility in the catalog.
Why Is This Important?
LGBT Directory — It’s not just a list of links. It’s an attempt to bring together a scattered community, to make it visible and interconnected. When you know where to find like-minded people, the world becomes a little safer.
We don't do this for the sake of statistics. We do it so that to make it easier for people to find support, information, and each other.
