Central Tyumen fined a local resident for "propaganda" of LGBT people. This was reported by the official website of the joint press service of the courts of the region. During the proceedings, it was found that a girl born in 2006 posted a publication on a social network with the image of two kissing girls, "by signing it with certain text and hashtags with the image of a rainbow flag".
"A Tyumen woman posted a post on a social network with the image of two kissing girls and the caption "Are you sure you are not offended anymore?" An important circumstance was the use of the rainbow flag image in hashtags and video file names. The court qualified this as a "public demonstration of the symbols of the international LGBT public movement", - indicated on the official website of the Tyumen courts.
The court found the Tyumen woman guilty under Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation - propaganda or public demonstration of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or attributes or symbols of extremist organizations. The girl was fined 1,000 rubles.
