About
One of Hell’s Kitchen’s largest gay bars, spanning around 370 m² (4,000 sq ft) in a former garage on W 52nd St, was opened in December 2010 by the creators of Chelsea’s Barracuda. It features high ceilings, a long bar with multicolored light panels, a large dance floor with disco balls at the back, and cozy nooks with sofas. Drag shows and entertainment almost every night: Spotlight Mondays, Star Search on Tuesdays, Queen at Industry on Thursdays (11:00 p.m.), and the Kizha Carr show on Sundays; DJ nights on Fridays and Saturdays. It gets busy after work and stays that way until closing; on weekends, expect a young, tightly packed, predominantly male crowd. Cash only; ATMs are available on-site. Nearest subway stations: C/E — 50 St, 1 — 50 St.
