Kaiserbründl
About
A historic 19th-century gay sauna featuring Habsburg-era tiles, vaulted ceilings, and a rooftop terrace.
A historic gay sauna in central Vienna, on Weihburggasse, near St. Stephen's Cathedral. It is housed in the former Centralbad Turkish baths, which opened in 1889, and is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Spread across three floors, it features a dry sauna and bio sauna, steam room, gym, bar, solarium, massage services, winter garden, and a restaurant by the entrance (open to clothed visitors).
Kaiserbründl blends historic architecture with a modern, welcoming atmosphere. Surrounded by ornately decorated marble columns and Eastern-inspired details, guests can enjoy casual conversation and good company. A unique place to meet and feel at ease.

The gay sauna features a conservatory. Spanning two floors, the conservatory at Kaiserbründl impresses with its open architecture. Natural daylight streams through the glass roof, filling the space with a fresh, natural ambiance. Loungers are arranged amid historic stonework and lush greenery, inviting guests to unwind. Today, this space is a tranquil green oasis, complete with a footbridge offering a beautiful view.
Restaurant and Bar

Located right at the entrance to Kaiserbründl, the restaurant welcomes you with a unique blend of Eastern elegance and a cozy atmosphere. Artistic lanterns, intricate wall decorations, and warm lighting create an inviting setting. Whether you are enjoying a drink at the stylish bar or a leisurely dinner with friends, your Kaiserbründl experience begins here.
Oh yes! You can also visit the restaurant in regular clothes without entering the sauna.
Catacombs and Playrooms

Deep beneath Kaiserbründl lies a labyrinth of winding passages, mysterious alcoves, and dimly lit corridors. Hidden between larger rooms, these pathways create an almost mystical atmosphere. Red walls, Eastern-style arches, and subdued lighting leave plenty to the imagination—a place waiting to be discovered.
The Kaiserbründl catacombs are more than just a passageway—they are a gateway to a mysterious world. In the dim light, surrounded by rough stonework and metal grilles, the journey to the play area begins. The anticipation is palpable; the adventure is about to begin.
