In Kyiv, pig heads were G.Bar thrown at a beauty salon because of public support for LGBTQ+ people

To the entrance of the beauty salon G.Bar on Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard in Kyiv Planted the severed heads and entrails of pigs, and the porch of the building was doused with blood. About the incident that occurred on July 21, the network administration told on Instagram.

According to representatives of the G.Bar, the Ukrainian branches of the network have been "under systemic pressure for a month due to the fact that we openly support human values and the right of every person to free love, life without fear and hatred." The company said that employees face threats, their personal data is leaked to the network, G.Bar cards on Google Maps are attacked, and unknown persons under the guise of customers damage property. Against the backdrop of what is happening, the management has strengthened security measures in Kyiv salons and attracted security.

"We are not going to respond with aggression to aggression. And we are not going to change our values out of fear. We just want to live and work in a country where business is not afraid to open its doors in the morning," the G.Bar emphasized.

The network noted that they recorded each offense and contacted law enforcement agencies. After the incident with the pigs' heads, a public appeal to the National Police of Ukraine followed - on the evening of July 21, the Kyiv police opened a criminal case of hooliganism.

G.Bar is an international franchise network of beauty salons of Ukrainian origin, with more than 71 branches in 14 countries. Some of them work abroad, where Ukrainians and Russians who oppose the war were forced to leave after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

In June, G.Bar already turned out to be at the center of a scandal: then the capital's salon fired employee Yuliana Kaznodiy after she wiped her feet on the LGBTQ+ flag. The incident took place on June 21, on the day of the March of Equality in Kyiv, which took place in parallel with the "March of Traditions" and the "March in Defense of Family, Children and Ukraine".
