Last week, the President of the United States was “shocked” to learn from intelligence sources that Mojtaba Khamenei might be gay, and that his father, Ali Khamenei, feared for this very reason that he was unsuitable for the position of the country’s leader, Reports The New York Post, citing three sources.
Trump could not hide his surprise and “laughed out loud” when he was briefed on these figures, according to the newspaper’s sources. Others in the room also found it “hilarious” and joined in the president’s reaction.
According to the publication's source, one high-ranking intelligence official "hasn't stopped laughing about it for several days now."
This statement, which appears implausible, is viewed by U.S. intelligence agencies as credible rather than as disinformation intended to undermine Khamenei’s authority, all three NYP sources said.
Two of them reported that Mojtaba, nicknamed “the power behind the clothes,” had been in a long-term sexual relationship with his teacher, while a third source stated that the relationship was with a man who had previously worked for the Khamenei family.
U.S. intelligence has no photographic evidence of Mojtaba Khamenei’s alleged sexual attraction to men, but sources insist the information is reliable. One of them stated that she "obtained from one of the most secure sources available to the government".
