Billionaire Rybakov bought the rights to Guf's album *City of Roads* for 95 million rubles in order to have it permanently removed. According to the businessman, in the late 2000s he often listened to this album while drinking, since the rapper's songs romanticized that lifestyle, which nearly destroyed his family.
The deal was struck with Anton Pronin, producer and CEO of the “Monolith Records” label. Rybakov attributed his decision to personal reasons: in the late 2000s, he himself went through a difficult period marked by alcohol abuse and a reckless lifestyle, which coincided with the release of this very album.
Having become one of Russia’s wealthiest individuals and a co-owner of the company “Technonicol,” Rybakov decided to eliminate what he called a “potentially harmful” cultural product:
"I want the younger generation not to repeat my mistakes. Removing the album is my gift to Russian-minded people."
The completion of the deal was announced on July 23, 2025. The final stage of due diligence is currently underway. In addition to his business, Rybakov blogs and writes music.
